Nanga 2020 FAQ

When are the Nanga Music Perth concerts being held?   From 2.30pm to 10pm on Saturday 10 October 2020.
What time are the concerts?   The afternoon concert runs from 2.30pm to 5pm. The evening concert runs from 7.30pm to 10pm.
How many acts are performing and at which concert?   Six acts will perform, and we are still finalising the line-up order. Suffice to say if you have a full ticket you will see all acts at either venue.
How much are tickets?   A full day pass, which gives entry to both the afternoon and evening concert, is $60.
Do you offer concession or children's tickets?   No. This is something that is beyond us for this year.
Where are the concerts being held?   The same six acts will perform at The Shenton Park Community Centre and the Mount Hawthorn Main Hall.  Ticket holders select which venue they wish to attend for the day at the time of purchase.
What about food and drink?   No food or alcohol is permitted in the venues. Both venues are close to a variety of places to eat. You could book a table somewhere or choose to picnic in a nearby park.

Nanga Weekend FAQ

When is the gate open on Friday? The gate is open from 5.00pm on Friday.
Where is Nanga?   The festival is located at the Nanga Bush Camp, which lies about 90 minutes' drive south of Perth CBD, 20 km from Mandurah and about 6 km from Dwellingup. Have a look at the map at the bottom of the page to get your bearings.
What is the accommodation like?   We like to describe the accommodation as 'rustic', with shared bunkbed accommodation (four to six beds per room). You can select your bed (i.e top/bottom, and in which lodge)while booking. The lodges are not insulated, so it is important to bring enough bedding with you if the weather is going to be cold or rainy. The shared ablutions are similar to what you might find in a caravan park.
Each lodge has a different curfew: Woodshed - 11pm, Timbarra - 1.30am, Currawong - no curfew.
What are my options for food and drink? There are no food or drink vendors at Nanga. The festival provides (at cost) cafeteria style, catered meals in the Woodshed Lodge. These meals occur during specific meal breaks throughout the weekend (so you don't miss any music!) Meals must be pre-ordered through our ticket booking agent and can not be ordered at the festival. All seven meals (covering the entire weekend) are available for $85. Individual meals can also be ordered. A 2019 menu is available here. The festival does not sell or provide soft drinks or alcohol but you are free to bring drinks with you (like a caravan park).
Can I self cater?   Self catering is available in Timbarra and Currawong lodges, but not in Woodshed. The kitchens are large and fully equipped with stoves, ovens, kettles, microwaves, walk-in fridges and preparation space. There is also cutlery and china you can use as well as pots, pans, cooking utensils and washing-up equipment.
Does Nanga cater for special diets?    It is possible to order vegetarian food. We do not cater for those requiring a vegan, gluten free or other special diet.
Can I bring a caravan? There are a limited number of campervan/caravan sites available so get in early. There is a size limit of 6m for a campervan/caravan.
Can I bring children? Pets?    Children under 18 are welcome - and receive free entry but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. You will still need to purchase meals (if required) and accommodation for your children. Due to health regulations and the protection of the native flora and fauna, the Nanga Bush Camp does not permit pets on the festival premises.
Is Nanga suitable for those with disabilities?   The Nanga Bush Camp  is a rustic bush location with unsealed tracks and paths, as well as multi-level buildings. Before booking, we highly recommend that you contact the Nanga Bush Camp (1800 801 807) for more information and to discuss if the festival venue is suitable with regard to your specific needs and concerns.  Nanga Music Festival is not equipped to determine the site's suitability for your needs. Make sure you have confirmed the suitability of the site before booking as we have a ‘no refund’ policy.
What about refunds?   Please note that Nanga Music Festival does not refund the cost of any tickets except in the event that the festival is cancelled.  Tickets may be assigned to others provided the original purchaser advises Nanga Music Festival of the identity of the new owner.  Ticket holders who do not match the identity of the ticket purchaser may be refused entry.
