WHAT IS THE ACCOMODATION LIKE?
We like to describe the accommodation as 'rustic', with shared bunk bed accommodation (four to six beds per room). You can select your bed (i.e top/bottom, and in which lodge) while booking. The lodges are not insulated, so it is important to bring enough bedding with you, especially if the weather is going to be cold or rainy.
Mattresses are vinyl-covered for hygiene, so it’s wise to bring an extra blanket or sleeping mat, for under your sleeping bag. The shared ablutions are similar to what you might find in a caravan park. The lodges have wood fires which make for cozy late-night sessions at Timbarra and Currawong.
Each lodge has a different curfew: Woodshed - 11pm, Timbarra - 1.30am, Currawong - no curfew.

WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS FOR FOOD AND DRINK?
There are no food or drink vendors at Nanga. The festival provides cafeteria style, catered meals in the Woodshed Lodge.
This year Chef Nimrod Kazoom will cater the event in the splendid Middle Eastern style. Meals are served during scheduled meal breaks throughout the weekend, so you don't miss any music.
Meals must be pre-ordered through our ticket booking agent at least 8 days before the festival starts and cannot be ordered at the festival.
Details on the Meals page. With luck we’ll have a coffee van, and tea/instant coffee are available with booked meals. Otherwise, the festival does not sell or provide soft drinks or alcohol, but you are free to bring drinks with you (like a caravan park).

CAN I SELF-CATER?
Self-catering is available in Timbarra and Currawong lodges, but not in Woodshed. The kitchens are large and fully equipped with stoves, ovens, kettles, microwaves, walk-in fridges and preparation space. Cutlery, crockery, large pots and pans, cooking utensils and washing-up equipment are available for your use.

DOES NANGA CATER FOR SPECIAL DIETS?
Vegetarian and vegan dishes will form a substantial part of all meals. If you require vegetarian or vegan food exclusively, please indicate your preference when ordering meals so we can cater the appropriate proportions. Some gluten-free bread will be on hand for those who prefer it, but we do not cater for those requiring a gluten free or other special diet.

CAN I CAMP?
Nanga Bush Camp is set up for people to stay in the lodges and we encourage you to consider this option first.
A limited number of sites for self-drive vans (limit 7 metre length) and tents are available; these normally sell out early.
This year, as more people have acquired bigger caravans and camper trailers, we have reluctantly concluded that these towed vehicles are no longer sustainable on a site not set up for them.
However, Nanga Brook Campground, which lies within the Lane Poole Reserve National Park, is only 5 km away. The festival will run a shuttle twice a day from the Nanga Brook campground. It is specifically designed for self-contained caravans and trailers, with no size restriction. There are 29 unpowered sites close to the river, with gas barbeques, dining shelters, fire rings (weather permitting – BYO firewood), dining shelters, dump facilities and accessible drop toilets. If you choose to drive, there will be designated parking at the festival site.
The Nanga Brook Campground costs $11/$7 concession/$3 children per person per night. Sites can be booked now here.
You will also need a Park pass ($25), which can be purchased online, by clicking here or at the Dwellingup Office, Banksiadale Road, Dwellingup, on the way to the campground.
If you’d prefer smarter amenities, consider Dwellingup Caravan Park. You can contact them here.

WHAT ABOUT REFUNDS?
Please note that Nanga Music Festival does not refund the cost of any tickets except in the event that the festival is cancelled. Tickets may be assigned to others provided the original purchaser advises Nanga Music Festival of the identity of the new owner. Ticket holders who do not match the identity of the ticket purchaser may be refused entry.
WHAT ABOUT RECYCLING AND RUBBISH?
We encourage patrons to minimise waste. Landfill rubbish bins are available. Cash for Cans bags will be available for eligible containers. Experience shows that for such a small festival, fossil fuels required to transport other recyclables and infrastructure makes recycling bins counterproductive. Instead, we ask patrons to please plan to take home their own recyclables, such as wine and milk bottles, food packaging and the like.
Please bring a box for this purpose, and should you see others’ recyclables improperly discarded, we encourage you to take the initiative to send the material in the right direction.
